Ideas to Make Learning with Flashcards Extra Fun!
Flashcards are amazing, but here are a few ideas to make them even more interactive:
- Name Game: Hold up a card and ask, “What fruit is this?”
- Color Hunt: “Can you find a RED fruit?” or “What color is this banana?”
- Real Fruit Match: If you have some of the real fruits at home, have your child match the flashcard to the actual fruit!
- Memory Game: Print two sets, lay them face down, and play a classic memory matching game.
- Story Starters: Pick a card and make up a tiny story about the fruit. “Once upon a time, there was a very happy apple…”
Supplies You’ll Need:
Here’s a little list of what you’ll want to have on hand for these fruity flashcards!
